I am getting very excited for the upcoming holidays. A lot of planning goes into it for me. We have to budget for Christmas so that means I have to start early. I have done a lot of my shopping already. I am not one of those that can start in July but when October rolls around I am making lists and comparing prices.
If I had it my way I would buy for every one, most of the time it just isn’t realistic to do that. I love spreading the Christmas cheer as much as I can though and I love to give people gifts. They are just a little way to say, I am thinking of you and wishing you a very Merry Christmas. I have put together a list of some of my favorite fun and easy gifts that I have given out over the years. All of them are found on Pinterest! The best part is they are fairly easy and inexpensive to make.
10. Mason Jar Soap Dispenser
I love how fun and easy it is to personalize this, you can paint the lid any color and add any color of soap you want. You can add ribbon or burlap string. Some of you might have all the stuff to make this right there at home.

9. Gardener’s Hand Scrub
I know it isn’t gardening season but this hand scrub is great to use all year long. With only two ingredients it is really economical and easy to make. Put it in a fancy glass container or mason jar.

This one is great for anyone that loves to eat cookies, that pretty much covers everyone right? It’s perfect for neighbors and friends. You could give this gift on Christmas Eve and they could bake the cookies for Santa.

6. Giving Plate & Goodies
I love the idea of a plate that travels around every year, one that is passed between friend, family and neighbors. It could be a simple dollar store plate personalized with the Sharpie marker in the oven trick. It is a great way to make giving home baked goodies even more special.

There I go again with the puns. This one cracked me up! I think using a pancake mix would be awesome and perfect for Christmas morning breakfast.
2. DIY Sharpie Coffee Mugs
I made these for my sister and bother-in-law last year. I think what I love most about this idea is that the possibilities are endless. You can personalize each one so that they truly are one of a kind.

1. 52 Things I Love About You!
This is by far my favorite! I did this a couple years ago for my husband and two boys. I got the deck of cards at the dollar store, I had the rest of the stuff at home. I took a piece of paper for each person and as I would think of things I would run in and write them down. This gift is very inexpensive but is definitely from the heart. I love finding them out in my boys rooms, knowing that they have been reading them and that they will always remember what I love about them.
